HIS passion for acting is so strong that veteran Hong Kong actor Patrick Tse (pic) declared he would not stop working until the day he dies, Sin Chew Daily reported.
“Unless I die, I will continue filming, ” Tse, 84, told reporters at the 45th Hong Kong International Film Festival where his latest movie Time premiered recently.
Film producer Gordon Lam praised Tse for his energy and work ethic despite his age.
Lam pointed out that Tse had put up with days of 18-hour filming without complaining.
“He can still handle both speaking and action roles.
“It’s just that he would ask for egg tarts, beef noodles and Coca-Cola, ” he quipped, adding that Tse was a pleasant actor to work with.

SINGAPORE - This year s Star Awards will be held at Changi Airport, with celebrities putting their best foot forward on a new runway.
Star Awards 2021 will be a 6½-hour-long show, aired from Changi Airport Terminal 4 (T4) and Jewel Changi Airport on April 18.
It is organised by Mediacorp, which is teaming up for the first time with Changi Airport Group, Jewel Changi Airport and Singapore Airlines (SIA) to present the awards show. It was cancelled last year because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

After taking a break last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Star Awards ceremony promises to be back bigger and better than ever before.
This year, local Chinese entertainment’s biggest event is launching itself out of its comfort zone: For the first time ever, the show, on Apr 18, will be held at the HSBC Rain Vortex at Jewel Changi Airport, and also at Changi Airport Terminal 4.

That’s not all: The stars will even walk the red carpet – or, in this case, tarmac – with a Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900 as their backdrop.
