CM Punk is believed to be a lock for joining AEW with his signing reported by many sources as all but officially confirmed.
Punk left the world of pro-wrestling when he quit WWE in 2014 so his return would be something big, although he did have a brief stint as an analyst for WWE Backstage on FOX Sports, he was never under contract with WWE.
Adding fuel to the rumors Punk has reopened his merchandise store on ProWrestlingTees.com. This could be a clear sign he is on his way back to ring, or he s just capitalizing on all the discussion.
PWInsider is reporting, WWE SVP of Talent Development Canyon Ceman has been released from WWE.
There were reports last month that Ceman had been fired, those rumors were at the time reported to be a crazy story however Ceman was officially released from his duties with the company today.
Ceman joined WWE in 2012, when he was hired as Senior Director of Talent Relations and had been involved in the scouting, recruiting, and evaluating of talents. He also helped oversee the WWE NXT brand.
He was promoted to Vice President of Talent Development in 2015.

First-round matches for the upcoming ROH Women s Championship Tournament have been announced. The tournament is scheduled to feature 16-women s competitors in total.
The tournament kicks off on Ring of Honor Wrestling the weekend of July 31 with the following first-round matchups:
- Miranda Alize vs. Alex Gracia
- Mazzerati vs. Nicole Savoy
Randy Orton’s last appearance for WWE television on an episode of RAW on June 21, 2021.
During that episode, he lost a Money in the Bank qualifier against John Morrison. In an update on his status, Fightful Select reports that Orton is currently listed on the disabled/inactive list internally, which was the only reason given as to why he has been off the television.
The report notes there are no issues between Orton and WWE and it is hoped he will be returning into the mix very soon.
Rumors are rampant that Daniel Bryan has signed a contract to join All Elite Wrestling.
During the latest edition of his Keeping It 100 podcast, Konnan revealed he asked Tony Khan about the rumor as he wanted to book Bryan for AAA.
Here is what he said:
“I will tell you this because I did ask Tony Khan. The only reason I asked him is because I wanted to use Bryan Danielson in AAA. I was like, ‘hey man, have you signed Bryan Danielson?’ He goes, ‘you know I can’t tell you that’ and then I looked at him and I go ‘bro, if that shows up in Chicago, that place is gonna melt’ and he just smiled so I think he might have but he has not told me.”
