Douglas Williams has won the American Theatre Critics Association s 2021 M. Elizabeth Osborn Award for his play SHIP. Given by ATCA in memory of critic, director, educator and new play advocate M. Elizabeth Betty Osborn (1941-1993), the prize recognizes the work of a playwright who has not yet received a major production, such as a Broadway or Off-Broadway engagement, or received any other major national awards. SHIP had its world premiere at Azuka Theatre in Philadelphia, where Williams is playwright in residence. In the play, a young woman returns from rehab to her seaside Connecticut hometown intent on scoring the most coveted job available: as tour guide at the local maritime museum. She also nurses an infatuation with a former classmate who once attempted to grow the world s longest fingernails.

Rapid7 Inc. announced today that it has acquired IntSights Cyber Intelligence Ltd., a threat intelligence and remediation startup, for $335 million in a cash and stock deal.
Founded in 2015, IntSights offers an external threat intelligence and protection platform designed to neutralize threats. Able to be deployed in as little as 24 hours, IntSights is pitched as providing instant value with the fastest path to protect against external threats.
IntSights claims it offers an industry-best return on investment, with customers seeing an average ROI of $2.1 million while reducing staff workload. Enterprise users can coordinate proactive response with automated, in-house takedown services to dismantle and block threats.

Rapid7 has purchased IntSights for $335 million to provide customers with a unified view into threats, attack surface monitoring, relevant insights, and proactive threat mitigation.
The Boston-based cybersecurity company said its acquisition of New York-based threat intelligence startup IntSights will enhance Rapid7’s extended detection and response (XDR) offering with alerts that ensure efficient security operations, earlier threat detection, and accelerated response times. The IntSights cash and stock deal is the largest acquisition in Rapid7’s 22-year history, surpassing its April 2020 purchase of DivvyCloud.
