A LOT has already been documented about the hard work all hospital staff have carried out through the Covid pandemic. At the start of the third lockdown in January Giggleswick School Parents’ Association launched a fundraising initiative to provide gift packs for as many ITU care staff at Airedale Hospital as possible as a way to show members’ appreciation. After speaking with a retired ITU sister they heard that many frontline NHS staff were struggling to cope both mentally and physically with the second surge of Covid-19 and so with her help they provided a gift pack of Temple Spa goodies to frontline nurses/carers for every £10 raised.
Laura WHILST most restaurant owners resorted to serving take-away during the pandemic, one clever businesswoman thought outside the box. She surprised customers of her Italian restaurants by using her food knowledge to diversify during the lockdown - from spaghetti to skincare. Instead of serving up the cuisine on the dinner table, Laura Griffin the owner of Ariete in Newton-le-Willows, started a new business with Temple Spa to sell the Mediterranean food-inspired ingredients for use on their skin. Laura Griffin, who also owns restaurants in Manchester, Merseyside, and wholesale food supplier to Italian restaurants across the North-West of England, changed her fortunes from pasta to pores.
But for shoots
I use Temple Spa cleanser, toner and eye make up remover which is cruelty free and vegan, and for moisturiser I use the MATIS Fundamental Face Cream and Teint Hyalu List Primer which leaves the skin feeling silky and smooth and makes for a great base to work on. Lorraine s eye cream is La Prairie.
MATIS Hyalu Liss Primer, £12.95, AllBeauty
As for base, Lorraine s go-to is Chanel. I love Chanel, they always seem to get it right, her MUA adds. It covers without being heavy or pasty looking, leaving the skin radiant.
For Lorraine s show I use Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation in number 50. And for shoots I would use the Chanel Sublimage, which has a silky finish.
