An inn, restaurant and wedding destination that has been in business in Bristol for 38 years is shutting down this weekend.
The Inn at Baldwin Creek & Mary s Restaurant will close May 23, according to a post Tuesday on its Facebook page.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce our bittersweet decision to officially step out of the restaurant-inn business and into much anticipated retirement,” according to the post.
The restaurant on Vermont 116 outside Bristol also offers lodging and has served as a site for weddings and other community events. The Inn at Baldwin Creek & Mary’s Restaurant is owned by chef Doug Mack and his wife, Linda Harmon.
