COBB COUNTY, GA Authorities have named the man who died in Cobb County Jail custody over the weekend.
The man now identified as Brady Allen of Kennesaw was brought into custody Saturday evening on criminal trespassing charges and was put in a holding cell for intake, according to Cobb sheriff s office spokesperson Saba Long. Long said the man became destructive and combative and attacked deputies, causing them injuries.

COBB COUNTY, GA A Cobb County Jail inmate is dead after he attempted suicide Wednesday, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation will be looking into the incident.
Detention center staff noticed the male detainee, whose name has not been released, did not respond to a 6:30 a.m. routine check-in Wednesday morning. Deputies immediately started CPR and called for an ambulance once they discovered him, according to a Thursday press release from the Cobb County Sheriff s Office.
COBB COUNTY, GA (WGCL) Cobb County police have arrested a man for fatally shooting his father.
According to an arrest warrant, on January 29, officers arrived at a home on the 2700 block of Sherwood Road in Smyrna.
The arrest warrant stated Cannon Davidson, 26, called 911 and said that “he and his father had been arguing and that he shot his father with his shotgun.”
Davidson’s father, Gregory Davison, was rushed to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where he later died.
The son was later taken to a Cobb County police precinct where he allegedly told detectives that his father physically assaulted him during a 10-20-minute argument.
