MUSKEGON, MI – A pink flag advertising ice cream waves at motorists on Whitehall Road north of Muskegon where a sign at Coney Land declares “Now Open.”
The seasonal ice cream shop and restaurant shut down for nearly three weeks after owners Ron and Jeanette Morin tested positive for COVID-19, devastating them “physically and financially,” a Facebook post said.
“It lasted a good solid two weeks,” said Ron Morin.
Coney Land closed on Friday, April 9 when Jeanette Morin learned she had COVID-19. The entire staff went to a testing clinic at Muskegon Community College that Sunday where her husband also tested positive.
