Mackinac Island’s Mission Point has 2021 special packages for romance, adventure, celebrations

MACKINAC ISLAND, MI - If Mission Point could wrap a big banner around this well-known resort on the island’s sunrise side, it would proclaim the upcoming season a “Year of Celebration” - a time to start making up for all those experiences and fun vacations that had to be shelved last year.
With travel expected to open up throughout 2021, Mission Point has designed a mix of vacation packages for spring, summer and fall. They’re aimed at whatever type of getaway you’re longing to create, from a family trip complete with bike rentals and tickets to Fort Mackinac and the island’s Butterfly House, to one designed for romance that comes complete with a five-course dinner, wine and tickets to cruise the Straits of Mackinac aboard the Sip N’ Sail boat. There was nothing normal about 2020, even the simple act of enjoying a cold pint of Michigan beer. And while things weren’t the same, our Michigan breweries stepped up even more, not only brewing up some excellent beers, but also changing almost everything they do in order to remain open.
John Gonzalez and I have picked a few of our favorites that we tried over the last year to share with you, and we are asking for you to share your thoughts on great beers you had this year from Michigan breweries.
