By Ryan Young Some COVID-19 vaccine clinics will be open this week around the Parkland Region. A Moderna clinic will be set up at the Fort Qu’Appelle Senior’s Centre – at 420 Broadway Street – tomorrow (Thurs) and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Indian Head Town Rink – located at 810 Woodward Avenue – will be the site of a walk-in Moderna clinic tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Yorkton will have a Pfizer clinic set up at the St. Mary’s Cultural Centre – at 240 Wellington Avenue – tomorrow and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Last week, Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP responded to a report of an injured woman at a home on the reserve. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries. 22-year-old Christopher Maple is charged with Attempted Murder, and will back in Fort Qu’Apppelle Provincial Court on July 15th for a bail hearing.

By Matthew Dekker A Fort Qu’Appelle man is in custody after an assault in Regina, yesterday evening. Queen City police were dispatched to assist a male who was bleeding from a large laceration. Police located a residence where the altercation appeared to take place, and inside was a second male covered in blood, and what was believed to be the weapon used in the incident. 41-year-old Nathan Oliver is charged with Aggravated Assault, and was scheduled to make his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court today.
