In the end, Exotic was not one of the 143 people given clemency and pardons from Trump. However, it turns out Lil Wayne and rapper
Kodak Black were among those included on the list.
Last year, Lil Wayne was charged and pled guilty to one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon during a flight on his private jet from California to Florida. Lil Wayne was first convicted of a felony gun charge in New York back in 2009.
Given his past conviction, this latest charge meant that, if convicted, he would’ve faced up to 10 years in prison. Lil Wayne was originally scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 28 so the pardon arrived at the perfect time for the rapper.
You aren’t alone.
Marketers and remote workers the world over felt the heat of the last year. Bouncing from fire to fire and crisis to crisis, trying to keep all the balls in the air left us simply trying to survive and respond tactically.
We didn’t get as much done strategically as we might like, because how do you plan during a pandemic you’ve never experienced, on top of major civil unrest? (Hint: You don’t really, but you can prepare for the worst.)
If you kissed 2020 goodbye without a solid idea of what you were going to do at midnight, don’t panic. You can still create a 2021 marketing strategy, even in mid-January.

Regina Spektoris no ordinary artist in this busy metropolis. Last year, ahead of Spektor s debut run of five shows on Broadway, Mayor Bill de Blasio pronounced that June 11 would be Regina Spektor Day, honoring the Bronx-raised singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist.
Along with a ceremony at Gracie Mansion and a framed proclamation handed to a beaming Spektor, de Blasio noted her activism, her philanthropy, and notably, her inspiring backstory. A Soviet-born immigrant who arrived in New York as a child in the late Eighties with her family, Jewish refugees escaping a repressive and discriminatory government, Spektor recalled poet Emma Lazarus s The New Colossus in an Instagram post about the day. Let s keep lifting our lamps beside the golden door, Spektor wrote. welcoming next waves of immigrants to our city of immigrants!
