A new Summer Fayre has been announced at the Norfolk Showground as part of a renewed drive to bring the venue back to life following the loss of two Royal Norfolk Shows.
As the Covid lockdown continues to ease, the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA) has launched a series of events, both physical and virtual, to pave the way for the return of its flagship showcase in all its glory next year.
VILLAGERS are determined to reach their fundraising target of £60,000 for new play park equipment. The village of Sherburn, near Malton, has recently added £3,000 from the proceeds of an Easter raffle, with almost £11,709 now raised for the project. The Sherburn Playing Field Association decided last year that the village needed a new children’s play park to replace existing equipment. However, a target of £60,000 is required to fund the project, which has been hampered by the pandemic. The new play park will include a wide range of new equipment for all ages and will also have an accessible roundabout and nest swing. The play park will also be moved to a safer location for children.
