The Baltimore Orioles will turn to ace John Means on Wednesday when they host the Tampa Bay Rays in the middle game of a three-game series.
With their bats coming to life on the last homestand, the Rays carried the momentum north and put up eight runs in the first three innings in Tuesday s series opener, cruising to a 13-6 rout of the Orioles.
Tampa Bay earned its fifth victory in a row while Baltimore lost for the fifth time in six games.
By giving the ball to Means, Baltimore will have its best chance of knotting the series.
