After a hard year with COVID-19, the Cody Night Rodeo is opening up to full capacity. Last year, the rodeo season was in question due to the pandemic. But the Rodeo fought hard to have their rodeo season and was successful
The general manager of the Cody Stampede Ed Bednarz expects great crowds coming into the 2021 season.
“Based on our pre-sales, we are through the roof,” Bednarz said. “It’s looking like our centennial year if not better depending on the rodeo. It is looking like a busy season.”

The car rental industry has always seen a high demand for rental vehicles during the summer tourist season. But as Wyoming transitions to a “post-pandemic” world, COVID-19’s impacts on business and tourism remain.
Usually, by May, the Hertz Car Company in Cody is ready for the new season where travelers are ready to explore Cody and the Bighorn Basin before traveling to their next destination. Cory Fields, the manager at Hertz Rent-A-Car at Yellowstone Regional Airport, says travelers are already booked for a difficult time in Summer 2021.

Cody depends on locals for summer success, and now the Cody Chamber of Commerce is asking for local support to make a big blast this Independence Day.
Summer has officially come to Wyoming. With Yellowstone’s East Gate open for business, tourists are flocking into Cody looking for additions to their western vacations.
Meanwhile, preparations have already begun for one of Cody’s busiest weekends – the 4
th of July.
The Cody Stampede Rodeo is all set to go, with Xtreme Bulls scheduled for Wednesday, June 30, and tickets available for the special events on July 1 – 4. Tickets for all these events can be purchased online.
