Police charge man with high-range PCA after being reported for dangerous driving during Australia Day Operation
Police have charged a man with high range PCA in Port Stephens after a member of the public reported him for dangerous driving before confiscating his keys when he pulled over, during the Australian Day road-safety operation.
Between 12.01am last Friday (22 January 2021) and 11.59pm last night (Tuesday 26 January 2021), officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command with assistance from Police Area Commands and Police Districts conducted Operation Australia 2021 across NSW.
About 6.50am on Sunday (24 January 2021), police received reports from a motorist that the driver of a Nissan Navara was driving dangerously on the Pacific Highway near Heatherbrae, Port Stephens.

A former netball coach has been charged with allegedly sexually touching three teenage girls at netball courts in Sydney’s south.
Detectives in October began investigating reports teenage girls had been sexually touched by a man known to them.
Following inquiries, police officers arrested a 70-year-old man at Kogarah Police Station last Friday.

The man’s Beverly Hills home was searched subsequently and documents were seized.
He was charged with eight counts of intentionally sexually touching a child and attempting to intentionally sexually touch a child.

Former netball coach charged over sexual touching of three girls
A former netball coach from Sydney’s south has been charged over the alleged sexual touching of three teenage girls.
In October this year, detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad established Strike Force Biscoe to investigate reports three teenage girls had been sexually touched by a man who was known to them.
Following extensive investigations, detectives arrested a 70-year-old man at Kogarah Police Station just before 11.30am last Friday (18 December 2020).
A search warrant was subsequently executed at a home at Beverly Hills, where officers seized documentation.
