Cottage Grove man arrested on suspicion of 7th OWI

By Stephen Cohn Apr 10, 2021 9:06 PM MADISON, Wis. A Cottage Grove man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of seventh-offense operating while intoxicated. According to an incident report, Brad D. Beckwith, 51, had been reported to fall down while in a store. The Sheriff’s Office said he then got into a car and drove away. The report said Beckwith was later found at a gas station in Sun Prairie. Earlier in the day, deputies took a report that Beckwith, who had violated a court ordered domestic injunction but left the address. He was identified as the suspect at the gas station, where he was also charged on suspicion of violating of a domestic injunction and felony bail jumping.

Boys and Girls Club to begin offering COVID-19 vaccinations this weekend

The Boys and Girls Club of Dane County will begin providing COVID-19 vaccinations beginning this weekend at its Sun Prairie location, President and CEO Michael Johnson said Monday. Johnson says the Boys and Girls Club will begin administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine with the help of Fitchburg Family Pharmacy and the UW-Madison School of Pharmacy between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Saturday at the McKenzie Family Boys and Girls Club in Sun Prairie. Everyone aged 18 and up will be eligible to get vaccinated at the Boys and Girls Club, but registration will be required. Registration will open Monday at 2 p.m. A link will be available on their Facebook page.
