Darren Walker, of Mr Tip It, Harwich, came to the rescue helping to grit the streets. Mr Walker loaded his lorry and set about gritting roads and footpaths in Parkeston and a part of Ramsey. Dovercourt Vines Ward and Parkeston councillor, Bill Davidson, said he was “extremely happy with the response” to help protect peoples’ safety in “arctic weather conditions”.
