In a murder-suicide incident in South Florida, a man and his 4-year-old son were found dead just hours after the boy s mother petitioned for an emergency order for law enforcement officials to pick up the child.
On Friday, officers with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department found John M. Stacey, 47, and his son, Greyson Martin Kessler, dead inside a condo in Las Olas. Authorities did not reveal any other details, according to local10.com.
Porter, 22, then turned the gun on himself.
A fourth related death is still under investigation. Shanna Booth, 32, was found dead in the basement of Erikaâs home five days later. Officials have yet to determine how she died.

LEAGUE CITY, Texas – Police said a woman is dead and the man who allegedly shot her took his own life in what was a four-hour standoff on League City’s west side Wednesday night.
Two children who were inside the home at the time of the murder are safe after being brought out by a tactical unit, police said.
Investigators said League City police were called to a house just after 10 p.m. in the 400 block of Westwood Drive. The initial report was that there was a home invasion and that a woman had been shot and a man was holding children hostage inside, police said.
