Albert (Al) Cutruzzula was born in the East Liberty section of Pittsburgh, PA on February 5,1922. He passed away in Hanford, California on April 13, 2021, at the age of 99.
Employed as a letter carrier with the Hanford USPS for 32 years, Al enjoyed his job and loved greeting his postal route households everyday. He met so many nice people during his tenure and even at 99 years of age, he never forgot the names of the streets and the folks who once lived there.
The most important highlight of Als life was when met his soon-to-be wife, Dorothy, at an USO dance in Lemoore in 1948. They tied the knot in 1949 and started their family in 1950. Al and Dorothy were very active in the Hanford community social scene, participating in the dance club âThe Jolly Bunchâ, bowling leagues, bingo events and other local activities. They were honored to be named Hanford King and Queen for the annual Kings County Homecoming Day in May, 2013.

TORONTO Members of the Trews have something to show for the depression and anxiety they’ve felt over the past year – a rousing pandemic-themed rock song.
The Hamilton-based act has unleashed “I Wanna Play,” a boisterous, arena-ready COVID-19 anthem that’s still waiting for an arena to pack a crowd into.
It’s one of the frustrations captured in singer-songwriter Colin MacDonald’s lyrics, which he says “fell out of nowhere” at the end of a writing session as his bandmates mused about how their lives as musicians ground to a halt under COVID-19 health restrictions.
I guess that s why people are connecting to it.
There’s also something deeper going on with I Wanna Play, a darkly comedic spin on a traditional breakup song that couldeasily double as a sing-along for Canadians who miss having fun like they used to.
For the Trews, some of the humour is more subtle. After all, they’ve chosen to release an epic arena-ready rock anthem at a time when Canadian health regulators wouldn’t dream of letting people back into the stands.
But I Wanna Play also grapples with MacDonald’s own trampled hopes for the past year. For instance, the track opens with: I wanna get on a train in a global pandemic. I wanna go so far away I can’t get back.
