Cheney to serve as elector

Keith Cheney, the chairman of the Allen County Republican Party, will serve as one of Ohio’s 18 electors in the Electoral College on Monday.
Ohio’s 18 electoral votes will go toward the 232 cast for Donald Trump during the 2020 presidential election.
Trump has since contested the vote count in multiple swing states, alleging widespread fraud. Subsequent legal challenges made by Trump’s lawyers alleging such fraud have largely been rejected in court due to lack of evidence and legal merit.
According to Attorney General William Barr: “To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”
