Free admission to Arizona s national parks this weekend: Here s where fees are waived Melissa Yeager, Arizona Republic
If you want to save a little money while having an outdoor adventure this weekend, the National Park Service is waiving admission fees on Saturday, April 17, which is the first day of National Park Week.
The park service is offering six get-in-the-park-free days in 2021. New on the list is Aug. 25 in honor of the 2020 Great American Outdoors Act, which allocated $6.5 billion for maintenance at 419 national parks nationwide.
On these six days, national parks that charge entrance fees will wave that cost. The fee waiver applies only to admission fees. Charges are still in place for camping, boat launches, tours and other activities and amenities that have a fee.
