Running from before sunrise to sundown, Luke Wicker has seen more incredible San Francisco views in a single day than many natives see in a lifetime.
On March 6, the ultrarunner ran every accessible peak in one day, 76 total, covering 65 miles and more than 10,000 feet of elevation gain.
A metal monolith that was spotted in Sanliurfa province, southeast of Turkey by a farmer on Friday, February 5, has turned out to be a ‘publicity gimmick’.

Turkish authorities are probing a mysterious monolith about 10 feet high, spotted in Sanliurfa province, southeast of the country by a farmer on Friday. The shiny metal block was found erected near the UNESCO World Heritage site named Gobekli Tepe, according to sources of The Associated Press. The curious structure appeared to be of megalithic origin, and had a message emblazoned in the old Turkey script that read: ‘Look at the sky, see the moon’.
