Calls to boycott Goya Foods continue to grow after the company’s CEO, Robert Unanue, falsely claimed Donald Trump had won the presidential election. Unanue gave an introductory speech for Trump Sunday at the the Conservative Political Action Conference â or CPAC â in Florida.
Robert Unanue: “My biggest honor today is going to be that I think we’re going to be on the same stage as, in my opinion, the real, the legitimate and the still actual president of the United States, Donald J. Trump.”
In response, the president of the League of United Latin American Citizens, LULAC, Domingo Garcia, told CNN, “When you put out lies to the community, there are consequences and there are going to be ramifications for your product.”

Apparently, after adding a controversial amendment to a bill that stalls it, the best way to get it moving again is to add more controversial provisions.

Syrian government claims to have shot down Israeli missiles just days after President Biden launched military action

THE Syrian military last night claimed it had shot down multiple Israeli missiles over its capital Damascus.
The incident comes just days after President Biden launched his first military strike by targeting Iran-backed fighters in the country.

Since the outbreak of the Syrian civil war in 2011, Israel has routinely carried out raids in the battle-scarred nation.
Historically it has mainly targeted Iranian and Lebanese Hezbollah forces as well as some government troops.
