Buckle up! The final stretch of the season is here and this is what we’ve been waiting for. Over the next several weeks the Blues’ 2021 trophy cabinet could be brimming with as many as four shiny new major trophies.
One of those is the FA Cup, and Chelsea return from international duty to face London City Lionesses in the Round of 32. With the contest preceding three HUGE matches, it will be fascinating to see how Emma Hayes approaches things. She is just as likely to use the 90 minutes as a “tune-up” for the primary XI, as she is to rest her big players for Wednesday’s WSL title showdown against Manchester City.

League leaders Chelsea have a two-point advantage over Manchester City going into Wednesday’s fixtures, when Sunday’s Conti Cup winners visit Everton and the Cityzens head to a Bristol City side sitting just one point off the foot of the table.
France
The Westfield Matildas in France return to action after a short break. The round is headlined by an enormous clash between the two heavyweights of French football: Lyon and PSG.
Currently sitting in first and second, this match will go a long way in deciding the title with Lyon only one point behind PSG. Ellie Carpenter and her team mates were in action midweek in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, progressing through to the quarter final stage after defeating Brøndby.
PSG were also in continental action and were convincing 5-0 winners over Sparta Prague.
Mid-table Guingamp and Laura Brock welcome relegation battlers Issy FF while Mary Fowler’s Montpellier travel north to face Le Havre, who currently occupy last place.
