The Presidential Inaugural Committee revealed that this year’s theme is “America United”: “At a time of unprecedented crisis and deep divisions, America United reflects the beginning of a new national journey that restores the soul of America, brings the country together, and creates a path to a brighter future,” the website declares.
The
Celebrating America special will air from 8:30-10 p.m. ET/PT (delayed) on the West Coast on CBS, ABC and NBC, as well as CNN and MSNBC via cable or live TV streaming.

And a woman competing for a slot on the U.S. Olympic team rebuffs the American flag as the National Anthem is played. They fought a war and carried its scars and memories mostly in a lifetime of silence so she could do what she did.
