Art festivals are returning, water parks are opening and baseball games are being played.
Here’s a round-up of what’s on tap:
Six Flags Hurricane Harbor will open for the season Saturday. One new attraction is the Banzai Pipeline, a four-story waterslide boasting three body slides that will spin, splash and swirl guests nearly 300 feet. Guests will have to wait a little longer to ride the Banzai Pipeline, though. It opens May 29. The park is open weekends and will begin daily operations May 28.

The 2021 season of Six Flags Great Adventure officially kicks off on Saturday, March 27th. Things will be rocking at Six Flags even before the park officially opens its doors with the launch of the Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure on March 20th and the debut of their Rockin Drive-In Laser Light Spectacular from March 18 through March 21st.
Daily operations at the Wild Safari Drive-thru kick off on March 27th. This spring get ready to welcome an adorable group of babies and the debut of the rare African bongo.

The 350 Acre Safari Adventure includes over 1,200 animals from six continents including elephants, rhinos, tigers, giraffes, kangaroos, baboons, bears, and lions from the safety and privacy of your own car.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Six Flags will welcome an array of adorable babies and introduce a new species the rare African bongo when it opens its Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure for the 2021 season this month.
The Six Flags Wild Safari Drive-Thru Adventure in Jackson, N.J., will open on March 20 and begin daily operation on March 27.
Guests will be able to see the new rare bongo species, including an adorable calf next month, as well as other adorable babies like four giraffe calves and two Siberian tiger cubs.

Arizona water parks and tubing rentals are allowed to reopen after a year of unpredictable guidance from the state on whether they should be open or closed due to COVID-19.
Gov. Doug Ducey announced March 5 that water parks are among the businesses that can operate without the capacity limitations that were imposed in 2020. Water parks and tubing operators had been expected to limit occupancy to 50%.
Other state-ordered COVID-19 precautions still apply. Those include enforcing physical distancing, maintaining water systems and requiring guests to wear face coverings except when in the water or eating or drinking.
