Where you can see the Azura cruise ship as it sails from the Port of Tyne TONIGHT A CRUISE ship which has dominated the skyline after remaining docked in the region since January will depart tonight. The huge P&O Cruises Azura is expected to set sail from what it has called home, the Port of Tyne in North Shields for the past five months. Last week, the cruise ship company confirmed the Azura would be departing on Tuesday (June 29) as official Port of Tyne schedules say it will leave at around 6.45pm. The ship, which has been berthed here due to a lack of space at its home port of Southampton, is setting sail to Belfast in Northern Ireland.
