.- Little Island was dreamed up as a haven for the performing arts on the Hudson River, and in its first months, it is also being put forward as a playground for artists who have been kept from the stage for far too long.

Foodservice company Pallas Foods has been rebranded as Sysco Ireland following what it said was a period of significant growth and investment.
The rebrand was supported by investment of €20 million in the expansion and refresh of the company’s delivery fleet and the continued transformation of its ecommerce platforms and IT infrastructure, it said.
Pallas Foods, now Sysco Ireland, has been part of the Sysco Group since 2009.
This investment includes an €8 million upgrade to the company’s existing site in Newcastle West and its new facility in Little Island in 2020.
Sysco Ireland has also announced plans to invest in two new facilities in Galway and Belfast to support future growth ambitions.
