Extension work well underway at Little Lambs Day Nursery in Kinmel Bay

Little Lambs Day Nursery in Kinmel Bay is having an upstairs extension on their building. This will allow the nursery to implement a brand new large after school room, adding about 24 spaces to the childcare setting. There will also be additional toilets and a large office space. As well as the extension, Sam Maitland-Price, nursery owner, plans to implement a private garden area for the baby room, a pre-school private outdoor space, an exterior brick wall, tarmacked car park and outdoor cabin. The nursery is also having a revamp. Plans went to Conwy County Borough Council in 2019 and were passed in December 2019.

Royston and Therfield communities help families struggiling

Books were sent Therfield First School - Credit: Danielle Wenlock Once again our community has turned out to help those who are struggling to stay afloat during the coronavirus pandemic.   Danielle Wenlock from Therfield, a local independent organiser for publisher Usborne, caught the helping bug after she did some fundraising in order to donate over £400 worth of books to a preschool and primary school. This enabled Therfield First School and Therfield PreSchool to get over 100 books for pupils most in need.   Danielle Wenlock with family. - Credit: Supplied She said: I only joined Usborne in September and I began to realise how expensive books were and how many were struggling getting them.  

Preschool students donate socks | News, Sports, Jobs - Williamsport Sun-Gazette

Dec 24, 2020 This year the children of Little Lambs Preschool donate socks for the American Rescue Workers. Socks are the most needed and least donated item for the homeless are socks. They have now acquired 206 pairs of socks to donate in various sizes. Some of the students, left, show off the socks they will donate. According to Little Lambs, their goal is to teach the children that giving and helping others during the holidays is important.
