Updated Feb 08, 2021;
When collegiate athletics returned to play for the first time in the pandemic, Auburn soccer was the first to step onto the field. They played an SEC-only schedule, but now, with the spring schedule release, they know when their first non-conference game since last year will be.
Baseball, softball, golf and equestrian are also on the verge of starting their seasons. Meanwhile, Tigers on other teams are breaking records. Both the gymnastics team and the track team had outstanding individual performances.

With images of plants sprouting, flowers everywhere and a bright colorful palette, it’s no wonder how the mural “Color Through Chaos” came by the first part of its title.
But artists Kristianna Jacques and CJ Williams say there’s more to the mural they painted last summer on an outside wall of Honeybear Cafe, 7036 N. Clark St. They say it was a way for them to address the protests that took place following George Floyd’s killing by a white police officer in Minneapolis last year.

Oklahoma State Senate
OKLAHOMA CITY – State Sen. Warren Hamilton, R-McCurtain, has filed the Equal Protection and Equal Justice Act, which would abolish abortion in the state.
Senate Bill 495 would ensure equal justice and equal protection of the laws to all unborn children from the moment of fertilization; establish that a living human unborn child, from the moment of fertilization, is entitled to the same rights, powers and privileges as any other person; and rescind all licenses to kill unborn children by repealing discriminatory provisions and making all alleged offenders equally subject to the law.

The first WINTER WEDNESDAY PRUNING SEMINAR brought to you by the Lodi Winegrape Commission (LWC) was held on the afternoon of December 16th at Ring Ranch in Acampo, California.
Hosts Kyle Brown, LangeTwins Vineyard Manager and LWC REC Committee Member, and Craig W. Edwards, Owner of Acampo Machine Works/CFM Worldwide, showcased a Spagnolo pre-pruner. This Spagnolo machine has three major components: a power pack, a carrier frame, and a head. The blades on the head are adjustable and allow for pruning on all four sides of the cordon, whereas other box pruning equipment does not prune below the cordon.
