Swindon manager John Sheridan hinted he was considering handing in his resignation after the relegation-haunted Robins were beaten 3-1 at home by Gillingham.
Vadaine Oliver scored twice as three goals in 10 second-half minutes saw the Gills come from behind to plunge Swindon deeper into trouble in League One.
Sheridan, who has come under fire from fans on social media in recent weeks, said: “It is a very poor result, after going 1-0 up in difficult conditions.

Jack Tucker’s seventh-minute goal has given Gillingham a 1-0 half-time lead over the Blues at half-time in Paul Cook’s first game in charge.
Josh Harrop started in place of Alan Judge in an otherwise unchanged Town line-up.
Judge was missing from the 18 due to a family bereavement and the team wore black armbands on their light blue away strip as a mark of respect.
The Blues set up in the same system as employed in their last four games with former Gill Tomas Holy in goal.
Skipper Luke Chambers was at right-back as he entered the top 10 of Town’s all-time appearance makers, Myles Kenlock at left-back with Toto Nsiala and James Wilson the centre-halves.

Paul Cook’s first game in charge of Town ended in defeat as the Blues were beaten 3-1 at Gillingham. Jack Tucker gave the Gills the lead in the seventh minute but skipper Luke Chambers pulled a goal back for Town on 65, however, Vadaine Oliver netted in the 73rd and 80th minutes to see the home side to a deserved first home league victory over the Blues.

Cook Era Gets Under Way at Gillingham

The Paul Cook era gets under way when the Blues travel to face Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium at lunchtime on Saturday (KO 1pm).
New Blues boss Cook began work with his squad on Thursday, the players having been given Wednesday off after arriving back in Suffolk in the early hours following Tuesday’s 2-1 win at Accrington, a third victory on the trot which saw Town up to seventh in the League One table.
A win against the Gills will see the Blues up to fifth at least temporarily with Doncaster and Portsmouth ahead of them in action later on the day, at home to Rochdale and at Northampton respectively.
Lee Johnson has looked to ahead to Saturdayâs Sky Bet League One meeting with Gillingham, insisting Sunderland will have to be âon top formâ to secure the three points.
Victory at the weekend could lift the Lads back into the top six after a long absence, and would be our third on the bounce after overcoming Shrewsbury Town and Ipswich Town.
âWe know enough about Gillingham to know this is a very difficult game, and we have to be on top form to get the result,â Johnson stated.
âYou always look at the managers. Steve Evans is a very successful one at this level. His teams are always combative and competitive, and we have to earn the right [to win] â theyâre in good form, won convincingly in midweek, and they pressed extremely high â a slight tweak to their gameplan.
