SUSPECT IN NAPOLEON STABBING INCIDENT RELEASED ON BOND

May 6, 2021 The prime suspect in a stabbing incident that occurred in late March on the north side of Napoleon is free on bond, after his arrest this week in Michigan.39 year old Kyle Kirby of Bowling Green was arrested following the original crime in a north Scott Street parking lot on March 26th, after he allegedly struck a parked car, causing injuries to that driver, and then repeatedly stabbed another person in the parking lot. The stabbing victim suffered serious injuries, requiring emergency surgery. And the suspect Kyle Kirby underwent emergency surgery as well. Last week, the Henry County Grand Jury indicted Kirby for Attempted Murder, and four counts of Felonious Assault. He was arrested on a warrant from Henry County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday in the Toledo area, and was booked at CCNO. ARREST REPORTED IN NAPOLEON STABBING INCIDENT FROM MARCH 26TH

Apr 1, 2021 An arrest has been made, and charges filed in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred on the north side of Napoleon on the morning of March 26th.On Wednesday, officers of the Napoleon Police Department served charge for two counts of Felonious Assault against 39 year old Kyle Kirby of Bowling Green. The charges were filed with legal representatives for Kyle Kirby, since he is still receiving medical care from the incident. The charges stem from what at the time was called a road-rage incident; but that is now being evaluated. There were two victims injured in the parking lot of 1815 Scott Street in Napoleon that day, on March 26th.Debra Hall of Springfield, Ohio was injured while sitting in her vehicle, when it was struck by Kirby’s auto. Nicholas Winterfeld of Perrysburg was injured in the stabbing, and is a former Liberty Center resident. Both victims were taken to hospitals in the region; and have since been released.
