Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins returned to the field Friday and had full participation in practice after missing the previous two days for non-injury related reasons.
Hopkins’ availability for practice, or better yet, lack thereof, has become a subject of discussion and that will be examined in another story coming later on the website.
During the open portion of Friday s session, Hopkins was observed participating in stretching lines and during individual drills in which quarterbacks threw to receivers, running backs and tight ends in what appeared to be warmups.
Meanwhile, the Cardinals declared four players out for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia, two of which were previously known. Earlier in the week, head coach Kliff Kingsbury said defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (hamstring) and safety Jalen Thompson (ankle) would not play against the Eagles.

: The Eagles announced they placed offensive lineman Jack Driscoll and cornerback Avonte Maddox on injured reserve. Both players suffered knee injuries against the Saints last week. Driscoll is reportedly out for the season, but the soonest Maddox could return would be the playoffs.
The Eagles now have two open roster spots ahead of Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.

Jalen Hurts can run fast.
On Sunday, the Eagles rookie quarterback may need to prove he can process information at a similar speed.
The Cardinals defense has found success this season using a unique pass-rushing package called Jet – where six or seven linebackers/defensive backs stand near the line of scrimmage, leaving the offense to guess who is rushing and who is dropping into coverage.
The formation, which consists of zero defensive linemen, tricked Russell Wilson in Week 7, when linebacker Isaiah Simmons nabbed an easy interception because the Seattle quarterback thought an all-out blitz was coming.

Copied!
The Cardinals, in all the years I have covered them, have always had a pretty good locker room of guys. Jerks are few and far between. But there are guys that come through that are easy to root for. That s what stood out to me Sunday – because the trio of Cards that collected all those sacks? Those are three of those guys.
Dennis Gardeck? The Pat Tillman-esque Gardeck? Sure, get two more sacks (to get to five on the season) when you get so few opportunities. Gardeck has always made the most of his chances, so why wouldn t he do it trying to get the quarterback? Markus Golden, another one. Junk doesn t always get home, but it s never for lack of trying, and the last two road games, he s made huge plays to open the game and put the Cards in the best position early. Both guys are tremendous to talk to and see succeed.
