Presidential spokesman Harry Roque announced that the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) has allowed the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) to open its 46th Season as well as the country’s hosting of the 21st Asian Seniors Women’s Volleyball Championship.
“The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Thursday, July 15, 2021, approved the request of the Philippine Basketball Association to restart their 46th season,” he said.
“This, however, is subject to the strict compliance of the health and safety protocols as provided for under the guidelines of the Games and Amusement Board,” he said.
