For Sama Producer Siobhan Sinnerton Joins Clintons HiddenLight Productions Naman Ramachandran, provided by FacebookTwitterEmail Sioban Sinnerton, executive producer of Oscar-nominated and BAFTA, Emmy and Cannes-winning documentary “For Sama,” has joined Hillary Clinton, Sam Branson and Chelsea Clinton’s production outfit HiddenLight Productions. Sinnerton will take on the newly created role of creative director and senior VP unscripted, and will report into CEO Johnny Webb. She joins from U.K. broadcaster Channel 4 where she was commissioning editor, news and current affairs and immersive content. At HiddenLight, she will be responsible for growing the company’s slate of premium unscripted content globally.

The Daughters of Kobani | Penguin House Syrian women, many of them Christian, were a crucial part of defeating the Islamic State terrorist group. How a small but powerful band of women led the fight against ISIS

In the years-long battle to retake northeastern Syria from ISIS, a small but powerful band of fighters led the way. The women of the YPJ, a Syrian-Kurdish force, fought alongside their male counterparts and face-to-face against ISIS. Author and journalist Gayle Tzemach Lemmon spent years reporting on their stories. She joins Amna Nawaz to discuss her new book, "The Daughters of Kobani."
