Dover may conduct Town Meeting outdoors . again
DOVER – Get ready for another outdoor Town Meeting.
During the Board of Selectmen’s meeting on Feb. 11, Town Administrator Chris Dwelley recommended that Town Meeting be moved from Monday, May 3, to Saturday, May 1, and that it be held at the high school’s Nora Searle Field.
Saturday, May 8, has been set aside as a rain date; both dates have been already reserved with Dover-Sherborn Schools, and there will be no conflicts with athletic contests or other events.
On a related note, Dwelley said that articles 11 and 18 will be folded into Article 4, the operating budget.
