2021 NFL Draft: Kary Vincent Selected 237th Overall by Denver Broncos

2021 NFL Draft: Kary Vincent Selected 237th Overall by Denver Broncos Share this story Photo by Alika Jenner/Getty Images LSU’s final selection of the 2021 NFL Draft came in the form of Kary Vincent Jr., who was taken in the seventh round, 237th overall, by the Denver Broncos. Vincent played in 39 games over three years with 19 starts. He made 47 tackles in 2019 and was second on the team in interceptions with four. Vincent also ran track at LSU and helped the Tigers win the SEC Championship in the 4x100 meter relay in both 2018 and ‘19. The former Tiger corner/nickel safety opted out of the 2020 college football season, and like Tyler Shelvin, probably saw his draft stock fall because of it. Vincent will join former teammate Lloyd Cushenberry in Denver.

2021 NFL Draft: Racey McMath Selected 205th Overall by Tennessee Titans

2021 NFL Draft: Racey McMath Selected 205th Overall by Tennessee Titans Share this story Racey McMath is off to Music City. McMath had to wait all the way to the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft before the Tennessee Titans called his name. McMath was a special teams standout in his four years at LSU and he’ll have to continue to excel there in order to make the Titans roster. But LSU has produced its fair share of special team standouts in recent years like Russell Shepard and Russell Gage, both of whom have enjoyed successful pro careers. Aptly named Racey, McMath can absolutely fly down the field. At LSU’s pro day McMath clocked a faster 40-yard dash time than Ja’Marr Chase, Terrace Marshall, and Kary Vincent Jr.

Day 1 and Day 2 Grades/Thoughts - looking at Day 3

Day 1 and Day 2 Grades/Thoughts - looking at Day 3. How we feeling after 2 days? I am feeling pretty darn good at the haul, and we still have some ammo to add to it tomorrow. Wanted to hop in for one last Draft post before we get into the down time until Camp/Preseason/etc. Will try not to ramble but want to give my personal take on Days 1 and 2, see how you all feel so far, and what i d like to see in Rounds 4-7. So lets dive in Round 1 : Player Grade A) Rationale : Be honest, once you saw Slater go at 13, you hitched your horse to Darrisaw or bust. And one you saw we traded the pick you ran to your garage, grabbed your pitchfork and were ready to march on Ricks house. Don t worry so did I. But the board broke flawlessly to let us grab the consensus OT3 (and to some OT2) who fits the scheme to a T. In the process we acquired 2 third rounds, which I will touch on shortly, and still were able to grab our guy. Terrific Trade, Terrific Value, and we now have our offensive tackle p

NFL Draft 2021: Best available players for Day 3

Photo by Matthew Holst/Getty Images The first 3 Rounds of the 2021 NFL Draft are in the books, but there is still a lot of talent available. On Day 2 of the draft, the Bengals addressed their biggest need: The offensive line and defensive line. Don’t be surprised if the go back to these positions on Day 3. One offensive lineman to watch out for is Alabama Crimson Tide guard Deonte Brown. Bama has produced some great offensive linemen, like our own Jonah Williams, in the past and had an excellent offensive line in 2020. His teammates Landon Dickerson and Alex Leatherwood were both seen as potential Round 2 targets for the Bengals, but neither lasted long enough.
