It was set up 10 years ago to get people thinking about, and talking about, digital inclusion and accessibility, because there are more than one billion people living with disabilities and impairments, and, simply, we can support each other better. It s a day of learning more about the kinds of visual, hearing, motor and cognitive challenges people are living with, and using that knowledge to reappraise designs and systems we take for granted, and ask how they can be improved. AN Iraq war veteran who has started a not-for-profit boxing club in Nairn is appealing for photographs from former boxers to inspire the next generation of youngsters coming through the ranks. Former Scots Guardsman Kevin Brooks was just 19 when he served in Iraq as an infantryman. He launched a club in Nairn in 2016 and after building up an array of gym equipment through local donations and the support of his regiment last year, they moved into the former Public Hall or Ballerina Ballroom, where many music greats including the Beatles performed in the 1960s.

An Ipswich court heard that the professional truck driver continually sounded his horn, used bad language and gave the mum and a primary school teacher the finger in a rude gesture. The trailer of Keith Stuart s truck scraped the mum s car when he squeezed past. But the quick thinking mum filmed his bad tempered antics on her mobile phone in the incident outside Karalee State School. Police followed up the complaint and charged Stuart with three offences.
