Exams for matriculation and intermediate classes will start July 10, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education announced Wednesday.
For the first time ever, the board will introduce digital
attendance in exams, FBISE Chairman Qaiser Alam said at a press conference in
Islamabad.
“Neither an exam paper will go missing now, nor there
will be any issue of attendance,” he said.
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the schedule for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Schools Certificate (HSSC) exams.
In a press conference on Wednesday, Chairman FBISE, Qaiser Alam, announced that the HSSC exams would be held between July 10 and 31, while SSC exams will be conducted from July 12 to 30.
The chairman clarified that the exams would be conducted for only elective subjects as decided during the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) on June 1. He added that there would be no practical exams.
