POLICE REPORTS FOR APRIL 16, 2021 By John Smathers Apr 16, 2021 12:51 PM State Police in Punxsutawney have filed charges against a 29-year-old Big Run man who is accused of the rape of a young child. According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, Child advocated conducted a forensic interview with the 7-year-old victim in February of this year and the charges were filed in March. They stem from the alleged sexual assault that occurred sometime between November 1 of 2018 and August 3, of 2019. The man is facing felony charges of rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault and related charges. A preliminary hearing is set for April 27. State Police reported that 53-year-old Mark Stouffer, of Patton, Cambria County, was sent by medical helicopter to an unspecified hospital for treatment of injuries following a motorcycle crash in Burnside Township of Clearfield County last Saturday.
