DENBIGH Castle is set to turn red next week to mark 100 years since The Royal British Legion was formed. On Saturday May 15, people across the United Kingdom will take part in various activities to help celebrate a century of support being provided by the Legion to those who have served with Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. Schools and businesses across the country will wear the colour red to show their support for the event and others will be fundraising. Ahead of commemorating the century milestone, Denbigh British Legion has been working alongside Cadw to light up Denbigh Castle in red from May 14, lasting for a period of 7 days.
