Tuesday, June 1, 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Yoga in the Amphitheatre. Every Tuesday and Friday enjoy views of Camden Harbor while being guided through a sequence of yoga poses with certified instructor Denyse Robinson. All levels welcome. Donations accepted with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Camden Public Library.

Visual Artists – Our Journey to a Personal Project
. During the month of May, the Camden Public Library will host an online show of photographic artwork by Sue Michlovitz and Dianne Kittle, who are presently completing Master of Fine Arts degrees at Maine Media College in Rockport. The images featured in the show highlight work that each artist has collected for publication in two fine press books.

Children’s Book Week to offer online, outdoor activities

Camden Public Library’s children’s librarian Amy Hand will transform into a new book character every weekday during Children’s Book Week, May 3-9, and plans to host a special Outdoor Story Time on May 5 in the Camden Amphitheatre, weather permitting.

The Camden Public Library is celebrating reading during Children’s Book Week, May 3-9.
Youth Services Manager Amy Hand will host weekday story times and crafts online, as well as special outdoor activities on the library’s grounds. Every weekday morning “Miss Amy” will portray a different children’s book character for readings posted to the library’s Facebook page and the Miss Amy Hand YouTube and Instagram pages. In the afternoon, participants can enjoy videos of hands-on crafts.
