Unclear how Trump intends to keep fighting election results 17/12/2020|6min
Sky News contributor Cam Stewart says it remains to be seen how Donald Trump intends to continue fighting the election results following Joe Biden s confirmation as President-elect.
United States Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell publicly recognised Joe Biden as the President-elect – and for the first time acknowledged President Donald Trump’s election loss.
“Donald Trump came out today, he waited about 14 hours before he actually made a response which is quite interesting, be he said this is too soon to give up,” Mr Stewart told Sky News.
“Interestingly he said the Republicans must learn to fight, which I think is probably news to some Republicans because the party really has pretty much stayed loyal to Donald Trump on this issue for at least five weeks.
