(Pocket-lint) - DJI has unveiled a new consumer drone called the Air 2S and it builds on the previous Air 2 by adding an impressive 1-inch sensor to the camera.
Looking at its spec sheet and promised performance, this could well become the drone to buy this year. By adding in advanced features and optics in a drone that s relatively well priced and compact, DJI has surely built a winner here.
The big story, of course, is the new sensor in the camera system. It s a large 1-inch 20-megapixel sensor.
It s a similar sensor to what we saw in the Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian four years ago. Of course, that drone was much bigger and had a much larger camera unit.

(Pocket-lint) - A yet-be-announced DJI drone, called the Air 2S, has leaked online via a slew of images posted by TechnikNews and leaker Roland Quandt. These leaks follow a US Federal Communications Commission filing from last month, all of which suggests a launch is imminent.
The DJI Air 2S will likely be an update to last year’s Mavic Air 2. It s thought to feature an improved camera and compatibility with DJI s new accessories, like the V2 Goggles and Motion Controller. Renders and a trailer shared earlier by OsitaLV depict a drone with a 1-inch, 20-megapixel sensor. That’s a lower resolution than what the Mavic Air 2 offers, but it s bigger, so it should bring upgrades to performance and low-light imagery.

(Pocket-lint) - During Oppo s Inno Day in November last year, the company unveiled some interesting concept technology, not least the Oppo X 2021 rollable phone concept.
Now, as part of Mobile World Congress Shanghai, it has shown a bit more of the device - including motion video of its Roll Motor powertrain.
