Daytona s Bethune Grill known for their honey wings and family feel

DAYTONA BEACH Shannon Hines, Rosemary Jenkins and Karen Hankerson attribute the success of Bethune Grill to their mother’s legacy, family spirit and their famous honey wing sauce.  “We’re a close-knit family,” said Hines, 45, who owns the restaurant managed by his two sisters. “Working together and continuing our mother’s legacy is important to us.” Hines said the best part of owning and operating the restaurant, located at 731 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Blvd., is working with his family.  “Expanding, franchising and taking the wing sauce mainstream are next on our list,” said Hines. “We currently sell the sauce here in the restaurant and online.”
