DualShockers’ Favorite Games of 2020 Justin’s Top 10
2020 was a year that featured social-distancing, mask-wearing, and some really great video games. Check out my Top 10 list here.
As 2020 (thankfully) comes to a close, the DualShockers staff is coming together to share their personal favorite games throughout the year. Unlike our official Game of the Year Awards, each of these lists is meant to reflect which games stood out personally to each of our staff members. Additionally, any game not just 2020 releases can be considered in each Top 10 List.
Saying the year 2020 has not gone the way I expected would be a gross understatement. Between nearly being trapped in a foreign country, working in the middle of a pandemic, and navigating my way through all-online school, I certainly had my hands full. Despite all of the crazy twists and turns that came this year, the one thing that remained constant throughout was my love for video games. No matter what was going on in the

For a multitude of reasons, I have played more games this year than any other in my entire life. If the running list I made on my phone at the start of the year is correct, I played 72 different games over the course of 2020 with 26 of those released this year. All in all this year was a tough one, but in terms of games, things have been pretty great.

It goes without saying, 2020 was a rough year but a slew of fantastic video games made it that little bit easier.

While I could choose to put a couple of games from previous years in my top 10, I’ve opted to stick to titles that have released in 2020. The year has been a tough one for everybody and I’ve decided, because of that, to highlight some of my favorite games from this year and this year alone a handful of rereleases and remasters are the closest I got to anything from previous years.
DualShockers Favorite Games of 2020 Ryan s Top 10
In a year that pushed boundaries and was challenging, my favorite games of 2020 were both comforting, thought-provoking, and a blast to play.

It goes without saying that 2020 was both one of the best and worst years that I’ve had pretty much in my entire life. As much as the COVID-19 pandemic was obviously something that we all had to face, this year personally brought some of the highest highs and lowest lows that I’ve experienced yet. As much as I’m looking forward to jump ahead into 2021 as much as everyone else, I do have to acknowledge that throug
DualShockers’ Favorite Games of 2020 Camilo’s Top 10
Video games were one of the things that helped me keep my sanity through 2020. Having to only pick ten was tough, but these were my standouts.

It goes without saying that 2020 was kind of a dumpster fire of a year, to the point that making such comments about it feels like a bit of a cliche. As a result, video game releases were that much more important and meaningful than they may have ever been in the past. There was a major rise in the consumption and usage of video games this year due to the still ongoing pandemic. People have clearly needed things
