Breakthrough COVID-19 cases are rare and most infections are pretty mild.
The COVID-19 vaccines have been rightly celebrated for driving cases and hospitalizations down across the United States, but no vaccine on the planet offers absolutely perfect protection.
As of late April, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said there had been around 10,000 “breakthrough” cases among more than 100 million Americans who had been fully vaccinated at that time. (For those curious, that equates to less than 0.01% of people who got vaccinated.)
Because those infections have been so rare, however, there is a fair amount experts are still learning about the small number of cases that do happen. And one of the biggest questions right now is if you do experience a breakthrough case, is there a chance you could have long-haul COVID-19?
Even with the NFL's expanded playoff field, not every team can realistically consider itself a title contender. Only a handful of teams are of that caliber, and more than half of the league will still miss the playoffs.

Chad Johnson has always considered himself a man of many talents, and he is going to get a chance to put yet another one on display at Hard Rock Stadium next month.
Johnson has agreed to fight in an exhibition bout on the undercard of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Logan Paul fight, Mayweather’s promotion team told ESPN’s Cameron Wolfe. The bout will take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on June 6.
Johnson’s opponent has not been finalized, but the match is likely to be a four- or six-round exhibition against another athlete or celebrity. The 43-year-old said on the “I AM ATHLETE” podcast on Monday that he is good at everything except golf.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Boxing Legend and Hall of Famer Floyd “Money” Mayweather is making his return to the ring in an exhibition against social media star Logan Paul in June, but it turns out the stars will be squaring off way before.
Fans, get ready for this: On Thursday, May 6 at 3 p.m., Paul and Mayweather will be going face-to-face at a special media event at Miami’s very own Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, which is where the actual SHOWTIME PPV event will be taking place on Sunday, June 6.
