TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State Volleyball re-routes its weekend plans as it prepares for two road matches at Duke this weekend at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Seminoles (6-3, 3-3) face the Blue Devils (8-3, 6-2) on Friday at 2 p.m. in an ACC match, followed by an 11 a.m. matinee on Saturday in what will be a non-conference match. Both contests will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
Florida State is an undefeated 5-0 this spring with two wins over Clemson and victories over UCF, Troy and Louisiana. FSU plays its first road match of the 2020-21 year since heading to Miami for a two-match swing on Oct. 15-16, 2020.
Senior middle blocker Taryn Knuth has been tremendous in the spring season, averaging 2.31 blocks per set and 2.56 kills per set. She is hitting at a strong .672 clip this spring.
Redshirt sophomore Morgan Chacon leads the Seminoles with 81 digs this year, followed Caroline Golden’s 70 digs.

A joint statement from the president of Duke University Hospital and senior vice president of Duke University Health System said it is preparing to expand its vaccination clinics to receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine at this time they are unaware wen they will receive its allocation.
7 p.m.
UNC Health expects to receive 4,100 Johnson & Johnson doses this week, 3,600 of which will go to UNC s largest vaccination clinic, the Friday Center.
Since the clinic opened on Jan. 11, UNC officials said it has administered more than 32,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
This week, UNC Health officials expect to pass 200,000 total doses given.
