Capcom to Sell Monster Hunter Rise Bundle with Calendar for Limited Time
The official e-Capcom store will sell a limited
Monster Hunter Rise bundle that includes a special calendar. This calendar will feature unique illustrations depicting various characters and monsters from the game through the months. However, this bundle is limited to the e-Capcom Japan store. Consumers can get their hands on this bundle for ¥8,789 or approximately $80. The
Monster Hunter Risecalendar bundle will release on March 26, 2021.
As mentioned previously, the calendar features unique illustrations. These images are drawn in a style that emulates traditional Japanese illustrations. Previews show monsters like the Magnamalo making an appearance on the calendar. Other illustrations feature various NPC characters and the hunter. This will be a limited release that is available on a first come, first serve basis.
The Capcom Cafe has revealed exclusive merch that will be available during its
Monster Hunter Rise collaboration event. The event will run from March 26, 2021 to April 22, 2021. Visitors will be able to purchase t-shirts, cups, and stationary featuring key visual artwork and designs. The collaboration event will be held at the Aeon Lake Town Capcom Cafe, located in Saitama, Japan.
Notably, the cafe features a few unique cultural items like the Shuin stamp notebook and Furoshiki cloth, leaning into the traditional Japanese aesthetic of
Monster Hunter Rise. The Shuin stamp notebook is traditionally used to collect stamps from temples across Japan, and will cost ¥2,420 (about $22). Furoshiki cloth is a reusable thin cloth most commonly used in wrapping bento boxes, and will be available in two varieties for ¥1,650 (about $15) each.
Capcom Cafe Converting Into Monster Hunter Cafe
Japanese gamers are already familiar with various game-themed cafes such as the Square Enix or Pokemon cafes, but Monster Hunter Rise will be getting a themed cafe. To celebrate the launch of the upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive Monster Hunter game, Capcom will be converting its cafe into a Monster Hunter-themed cafe towards the end of the month. Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is available exclusively for Nintendo Switch right now, with Rise releasing on March 26th.
Gamers that visit the Capcom Cafe in Saitama, Japan on March 26th will be greeted by an entirely Monster Hunter-themed cafe rather than the traditional blend of various Capcom properties. With travel restrictions in place, it’s likely that only those living in Japan will be able to visit the Aeon Lake Town in Saitama location to see the themed set-up in person. These changes to the Capcom Cafe will run from March 26th until April 22nd.
Monster Hunter Rise Capcom Cafe Collaboration to Appear in March
The Capcom Cafe will see a
Monster Hunter Rise collaboration appear in March 2021. Capcom has officially decided on a date, and shared a key visual with audiences. The
Monster Hunter Rise Capcom Cafe collaboration will begin on March 26 and last until April 22, 2021. The collaboration event will be held at the Aeon Lake Town location in Saitama, Japan. [Thanks, Gamer!]
The key visual for the collaboration event leans into the aesthetic of the player hub in Monster Hunter Rise. The illustration features ink brush strokes associated with traditional Japanese artwork, and shows various characters and monsters from the upcoming title eating together in harmony.
