Their brochure says “Floating is about everything that you won’t be doing.” Many friends claim I’m always doing too many things, so I decided I should experience a session at Urban Float, which opened its doors in Rehoboth about two years ago.
The experience is described as weightless meditation, where guests are invited to float in a private sensory-managed pod in purified water including 1,200 pounds of Epsom salt.

For 14 years, Jordan Irazabal has been working to photo document the 3,000 lowest active Delaware license plate numbers. Now he has only 32 tag numbers left to find.
Izrabal asks the public to help him get the remaining 32 up-close photos. The pandemic has had a ripple effect throughout Delaware, including on families’ housing.
With more families and individuals sheltering in place, issues like leaking roofs, no working heat and inadequate railings have surfaced as urgent issues to resolve. Thanks to two generous gifts from the Welfare Foundation and Barclays, Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County in conjunction with Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is launching a pilot Healthy Homes Repair program for those impacted by COVID-19.
With a goal of serving 25 families across the state, the pilot program will last until June. Eligible families must be income-qualified homeowners and have been impacted by COVID-19. An impact could mean loss of employment or childcare, or a health impact like testing positive for COVID-19. The Healthy Homes Repair Pilot will allow Habitat for Humanity to assess the household’s need for repairs that will help improve the family’s health outcomes. All rep

Marnie Oursler
Christian Hudson, chair of the Beebe Medical Foundation board of directors, announced that Marnie Oursler will join the foundation board as a director.
