The remains of two piglets found in a cage near University of Cape Town (UCT) upper campus was part of a research project in forensic entomology.
Cape of Good Hope SPCA Inspectors found the burnt remains of two small piglets locked in a cage, in the forest, at the University of Cape Town (UCT) upper campus on Wednesday, 21 April.
The burnt piglets were reportedly used in a research study to estimate time of death.
BURNT PIGLETS WERE STILLBORN AND DID NOT SUFFER
In a blog post on Wednesday, the Cape of Good Hope SPCA said they found the burnt remains of the two piglets while searching for injured animals in the aftermath of the Cape Town fire.
